Salary Range:

$52,000 - $103,330

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.

Ludlow, MA - 431 Center St

Purpose/Objective:

Leverage your leadership and communication skills to grow the Bank through our products and services and maintain operational excellence while ensuring an exceptional client experience as the leader of your financial center.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Develops Business: Educates clients on products/services, advises based on needs, and capitalizes on cross-selling opportunities. Promotes business development by contacting existing or potential clients, and refers business to other departments. Represents the Bank in community organizations and events.
  2. Manages Financial Center Sales & Operations: Stays informed about new products/services, educates staff, ensures compliance, and promotes a positive client experience. Oversees branch appearance, equipment, inventory, and adherence to policies.
  3. Performs Supervisory Duties: Coaches staff, manages performance, conducts meetings, and ensures staff development and motivation.
  4. Serves as part of Loan Origination Process: Handles client inquiries, processes loan applications, and performs loan closings where applicable.
  5. Responds to Routine Legal Issues: Handles matters related to Powers of Attorney, estates, and trusts.
  6. Lives Berkshire Bank's Be FIRST values: Demonstrates commitment to corporate social responsibility and ethical standards, utilizing client service skills to meet needs and perform complex client operations.
  7. Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and policies to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards. Must be eligible for registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry for SAFE Act purposes. Available for Saturday hours and travel as needed.
Evaluation Factors:

Quantitative and evaluated factors include deposit size, staff size, transaction volume and complexity, customer/business development, staff development, performance management, efficiency, audit results, customer experience, overall performance, and individual capabilities.

Education and Experience:
  • Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in branch banking
