Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding service at our New Albany Financial Center. You will handle deposits, payments, cards, and disputes while actively identifying customer needs and offering tailored banking solutions.

In this role you will open accounts, drive sales, and collaborate with Financial Advisors and Mortgage teams. A strong focus on digital tools and customer experience will be essential for success in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work Experience: Less than one year Banking and/or retail experience Or Less than one year Sales experience or Customer Service experience preferred.
• General knowledge and abilities: effective relationship building, clear written and verbal communication, listening and problem solving, time management, sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide their experience in the Financial Center.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Fulfill financial needs through consultative conversations and referrals to experts.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer to specialists as needed.
• Establish partnerships with Financial Advisors, LRMs, Mortgage and Business Bankers.
• Engage in outbound calling to generate referrals and sales opportunities.
• Navigate bank systems to provide high-quality service and meet financial objectives.
• Work as part of a team and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
