Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a Financial Business Analyst to gather and document requirements from Accounting, Finance, and Tax systems. You will translate business needs into functional specs for technology solutions and map current-state processes to design future workflows.

Engage with Finance and Accounting teams, support UAT and data validation, and drive process improvements and automation opportunities. This is an onsite contract role based in McLean, VA.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of business analysis experience in accounting, finance or tax functions.
• Experience in mortgage, banking or financial services is a plus.
• Strong requirements gathering, process-mapping and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with financial systems, ERP, and reporting tools.

Job Location: McLean, VA (5 Days Onsite)

Job Type: Contract.

Job Summary

• Gather and document business requirements from Accounting, Finance, and Tax systems.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology process solutions.
• Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows.
• Support UAT, data validation, and process documentation (SOPs, process flows).
• Facilitate communication between business units and technical delivery teams.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Min 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with direct exposure to accounting, finance, or tax functions.
• Experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services (GSE experience a plus).
• Strong requirements-gathering, process-mapping, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with financial systems, ERP, and reporting tools.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
