Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Financial BI Tech Consultant to design and implement financial and management reporting and analytics portfolios that drive strategic decisions.

You will lead alignment of the BI framework, define key KPIs, and partner with finance and actuarial teams to improve reporting efficiency, reduce redundancy, and shorten cycle times, while ensuring accuracy and consistency of metrics across reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, business or related field.
• 5+ years of BI tools, systems and relational databases experience.
• Experience in PM, strategy, change mgmt and process improvement.
• Experience in reporting and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement financial and management reporting and analytics portfolios used to drive strategic and operational decisions.
• Oversee alignment of BI strategy and framework with KPIs to gain insights into financial operations.
• Rationalize reports to ensure metrics are consistently defined, calculated and accessible.
• Identify opportunities for enhanced reporting automation.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of financial and management reporting and analytics portfolio(s) used to drive strategic and operation decision making. Additionally, this role oversees the team*s alignment of business intelligence strategy and framework, consisting of a standard set of business drivers and kpis, to gain insights into financial business operations through data retrieval, analysis, and reporting. This position is also responsible for report rationalization ensuring metrics are consistently defined, calculated, and accessed, and for identifying opportunities for enhanced reporting automation. The financial bi technical consultant will closely partner with finance and actuarial teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes, reduce risks and redundancy, while improving timeliness, quality and delivery.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with business intelligence tools and systems, and relational database technology
• Project Management, strategy development, change management and process improvement experience
• Reporting and data governance experience
• This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range $84,400.00 - $152,300.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
