Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a skilled BI/Financial Reporting professional to design and implement reporting portfolios that support strategic decisions. You will align BI strategy with KPIs, partner with finance and actuarial teams, and drive automation to improve timeliness and quality of reports.

The role is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with business intelligence tools and systems, and relational database technology.
• Project Management, strategy development, change management and process improvement experience.
• Reporting and data governance experience.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of financial and management reporting and analytics portfolio(s) used to drive strategic and operation decision making. Additionally, this role oversees the team's alignment of business intelligence strategy and framework, consisting of a standard set of business drivers and kpis, to gain insights into financial business operations through data retrieval, analysis, and reporting. This position is also responsible for report rationalization ensuring metrics are consistently defined, calculated, and accessed, and for identifying opportunities for enhanced reporting automation. The financial bi technical consultant will closely partner with finance and actuarial teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes, reduce risks and redundancy, while improving timeliness, quality and delivery.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with business intelligence tools and systems, and relational database technology
• Project Management, strategy development, change management and process improvement experience
• Reporting and data governance experience

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Oracle Fusion Financials Reporting Experience (ERP and EPM)
• Oracle Smart view, BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)
• Experience in EPM Reports, Narrative reporting
• Hands on Report development experience
• PowerBi Paginated reporting experience

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

Base Pay Range

$84,400.00 - $152,300.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
