OneDigital currently seeks a Financial Benefits Consultant in Orlando to support financial analysis for client group benefit programs. You will work with Account Managers and Benefits Consultants to prepare benefit and financial illustrations for client evaluation.

The role involves drafting Exhibits, assisting with carrier negotiations, mentoring staff, generating utilization reports, analyzing data, and preparing cost projections.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree, required; Business, Finance, Math, Accounting, or related field, preferred
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, required
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, required
• Experience in the healthcare industry working for a group insurance carrier, broker or consultant, preferred
• Knowledge of group insurance including medical, dental, CDHP, pharmacy, life and disability products, strongly preferred
• Experience with database applications, a plus

Summary:

The Financial Benefits Consultant supports all aspects of financial analysis related to clients’ group benefit programs. The Financial Benefits Consultant works closely and collaboratively with other members of the financial support team to provide support to Account Manager(s) and Benefits Consultant(s). Deliverables will include benefit and financial illustrations that allows clients to properly evaluate their benefit plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Drafts and reviews accurate exhibits for quarterly and annual client meetings
• May assist the Benefit Consultant with carrier negotiation process
• Mentors junior team members
• Drafts and reviews client utilization reports using various carrier reporting methods
• Analyzes data and identifies opportunities for plan design and product changes, based upon observed utilization patterns
• Drafts and reviews monthly reporting deliverables for clients.
• Drafts and reviews cost projections for benefit plan offerings.
• Analyzes industry benchmarks and drafts information for the client to show their competitiveness in the industry.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with carrier partners
• Maintains accurate, current, organized, and complete market information in internal databases
• Assists team and clients as necessary with special projects

Education, Training and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
