Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH seeks an early-career Financial Audit Leadership Participant to rotate through Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Investment Advisors, IT, and Finance & Accounting over a 24-month period, gaining broad audit exposure and hands-on experience.

You will work under the Audit Senior Leader, support test strategies, document evidence, develop findings, and participate in leadership trainings. Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduates eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Accounting, Economics or Finance degrees preferred with internship/co-op experience.
• Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduate.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and general ledger, reconciliation and reporting systems.
• Ability to learn additional software as required by ALP Assignment.
• Professional customer service skills; able to manage time and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in execution of audit fieldwork to support department metrics.
• Validate test strategies and assess internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Accumulate evidence to support audit conclusions with quality documentation.
• Assist in developing findings and recommendations for audit reports.
• Support risk monitoring and follow-up processes; attend trainings.
