Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Financial Analyst in Foster City, CA to join the FP&A team supporting Workforce Planning for Fleet Operations. You will partner with Operations leaders on contingent staffing, headcount budgeting, and MEC activities, while building robust models and dashboards in Anaplan and SAP to drive forecast accuracy and data-driven decisions.

The role requires 4+ years in FP&A or related analytics, with a track record of modeling, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a quantitative field.
• 4+ years experience in FP&A or analytic field.
• 2+ years building models, forecast templates, dashboards, and business process development.
• Experience with annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Experience with planning/reporting tools (Anaplan, OneStream, Looker, SAP).
• Highly analytical with ability to synthesize large data to derive insights and recommendations.
• Ability to develop strong cross-functional working relationships across the finance team and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain long-range, annual, and mid-year financial models for contingent workforce planning.
• Partner with Fleet Operations leadership to set staffing ratio targets and review performance vs targets.
• Manage close activities related to contingent labor spend, vendor invoicing, and staffing plan variance.
• Analyze large financial and operational datasets from Anaplan, SAP S4, SAP Ariba, and other systems to drive actionable insights.
