Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to translate complex budgets into actionable plans for national security programs in a McLean, VA setting.

You will coordinate with client leadership to shape funding strategies, monitor allocations, and ensure rigorous financial controls and reporting across contracts and facilities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with financial and business programs supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Windows.
  • Knowledge of financial and contract systems for administration and reporting to include ALM, BASIS, and COGNOS.
  • Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Knowledge of governance and compliance associated with Contracts and Facilities programming and reporting.
  • Knowledge of benchmarking or metrics, strategic business planning, change management, data modeling or analytics, creative problem solving, decision briefing, and risk management.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree

That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure our client's resources can make the most impact.

As a Financial Analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help guide our client's decisions at the executive level. You’ll work with seniors across the client's organization to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of government budget and finance rules and regulations, you’ll help your client develop well‑formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the Senior Resource Manager. This is your chance to work on high‑level impactful work supporting national security while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have
  • 5+ years of experience with financial and business programs supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
