Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Financial Analyst to examine financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and financial planning, with a focus on transactions across the full order-to-cash cycle, accounts receivable and collection processes, and ensuring IFRS 15 revenue recognition.

You will build relationships with business units, perform month-end and quarter-end closes, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, support audits, and develop ad hoc reports

Qualifications

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in financial analysis roles, accounting roles, or relevant experience.
• Completion of or working toward a professional accounting designation (CPA).
• Excellent proficiency in financial modeling.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with and provide excellent customer service to the business unit(s).
• Completing the month-end and quarter-end close processes, by examining results, preparing journal entries and detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting for senior management.
• Tracking & examining deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and revenue streams.
• Preparing information requests and responding to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Special projects & ad hoc reporting as required.
