Berkadia's Chevy Chase Investment Sales team is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform financial analysis, market research, and create client-ready presentation content for multifamily investment opportunities. You will support analyses from initial assessment through closing, collaborating with brokers and the production team.

Ideal candidates have 0-3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of multifamily real estate finance, investment sales, and transaction

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling.
• Foundational understanding of multifamily real estate finance, investment sales, and transaction processes.
• Ability to research and analyze market, demographic, competitive, economic, industry, and real estate trend data.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial analysis and underwriting of multifamily investment opportunities using models.
• Review P&L statements, rent rolls, operating data, and other financial materials to support evaluation.
• Research and maintain market intelligence databases covering investment sales activity and market trends.
• Build familiarity with the Washington, D.C. metropolitan-area multifamily market through industry research.
• Organize data into clear analyses, graphics, and presentation materials for internal and client-facing deliverables.
• Prepare offering memorandums, broker opinions of value, and market presentations through research and writing.
