What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Provide expert guidance on research administration and compliance in collaboration with unit-level partners
  2. Develop and deliver training and educational resources on post-award policies and compliance standards
  3. Monitor and analyze key financial indicators to evaluate the health of research portfolios
  4. Coordinate and serve as a liaison for internal and external audits related to sponsored research
  5. Generate and present financial reports to support decision-making and compliance

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience for Advanced Professional level, or 6+ years for Senior Professional level
  2. Strong knowledge of post-award research administration and compliance regulations
  3. Exceptional analytical, accounting, interpersonal, and communication skills
  4. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including advanced Excel skills
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a diverse research enterprise

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience with enterprise systems such as SIMBA (SAP/S4HANA)
  2. Strong presentation and training skills for diverse audiences
  3. Familiarity with emerging sponsor requirements and federal/state regulations
