Job summary

Conagra Brands in Russellville, AR is seeking a Finance Analyst to perform moderately complex research and analysis for the manufacturing finance area under limited supervision. You will present findings to management, review process orders, and help with monthly labor and overhead reviews and period close.

You will partner with business units, assist in AOP and strategic planning, build financial models, and support FP&A, new product development, and in-market investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Manufacturing accounting/finance experience required.
• 3+ years of professional general business and financial experience.
• Experience in P&L management with knowledge of financial systems.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with internal customers and peers.
• Experience across multiple departments to complete projects.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner for accounting and finance related questions and communicate issues clearly.
• Assist in preparing the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for P&L components and balance sheet.
• Update the monthly forecast for assigned function and communicate changes to partners.
• Participate in month-end/quarter-end close and resolve unusual items promptly.
• Provide financial analysis and models for requests (product development, pricing, etc.).
• Rotate across FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments and in-market investments.
• Deliver periodic metrics, scorecards and reports.
• Conduct weekly labor and overhead reviews and close process orders.
• Analyze yield loss and report results.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, you will perform moderately complex research and analysis for assigned financial area under limited supervision. Present analysis and recommendations to management. Identify and investigate issues related to assigned projects. Review Process Orders for accuracy and close as appropriate. Review labor and overhead expenses and provide monthly analysis. May perform business partnering, analytics, AOP & Strat Plan, monthly forecasting, Metrics & Scorecard, and/or Period close.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner for specified function on accounting and finance related questions. This will involve the ability to assess business needs, resolve risks and opportunities in a timely manner, and clear communication of issues/business results.
• Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for assigned component of the P&L and related balance sheet accounts.
• Update the monthly forecast for assigned function based on business changes. Actively communicate changes to business partners by providing specific, actionable and forward-looking commentary on the various changes as well as guidance on potential risk.
• Participate in month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues in a timely manner.
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for various requests depending on the assigned function (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing, etc.).
• Responsible for project work that will rotate and cut across several different financial disciplines including, but not limited to FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments.
• Evaluate and deliver periodic metrics, scorecards and reports.
• Weekly Labor and Overhead Reviews.
• Accuracy review and closing of Process Orders.
• Yield Loss analysis and reporting.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Manufacturing Accounting/Finance Experience required
• 3+ years of professional general business and financial experience
• Experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
• Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships.
• Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
