Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner with Mobility and Oro teams to drive financial visibility, operational performance, and strategic decision-making. You will support planning, monthly actuals, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc analyses.

In this fast-paced environment, you will work with business leaders and cross-functional partners to provide clear reporting, identify opportunities and risks, and support key decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related quantitative field is required.
• 0–2 years FP&A or related experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, decision support, and reporting.
• Develop forecasts and monitor KPIs; support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform variance analysis and ad hoc analyses.
• Advance data mining and modeling to identify drivers and insights.
• Deliver timely analysis of revenue, expenses, EBITDA impact and variances.

The Financial Analyst partners with the Mobility and Oro teams to help drive financial visibility, operational performance, and strategic decision-making. This role will support financial planning, monthly actuals reporting, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc analysis and reconciliations. In this fast-paced environment, you will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to provide clear reporting, identify opportunities and risks, and support key decisions across the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Provide financial business analysis, decision support, and thought leadership.
• Develop financial forecasts, analyze business trends, generate internal management reports, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for short-term and long-term business planning.
• Advance data mining, modeling and in support of identifying key business drivers and providing actionable insights.
• Deliver timely and accurate analysis of business performance, including revenue, operating expense, EBITDA impact, and variances to forecast, annual operating plan, and prior year results.

What We're Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related Quantitative field.
• 0 - 2 years of FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics experience in an analytical or reporting role preferred.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Databricks, Tableau, or other reporting tools preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect financial results to operational drivers and business performance.
• Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and manage multiple priorities with a high "say/do" bias.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
• Results driven, with the ability to help overcome business challenges and support data-informed decisions.
