Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial analysis, reporting, data validation, and business partnering. The role involves preparing financial information, tracking KPIs, investigating variances, and translating data into actionable insights.

You will enhance financial models, collaborate across Finance and Accounting, and assist planning and forecasting. Responsibilities include creating dashboards, performing variance analysis, and supporting month-end/quarter-end processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and working capital to identify trends and risks.
• Perform variance analysis and communicate findings clearly.
• Maintain and improve financial models, templates, and reporting tools.
• Use AI, automation, and data tools to enhance analysis and reporting efficiency.
• Support month-end and quarter-end activities including budgeting and forecasting.
• Reconcile and validate data across source systems and reports.
• Develop knowledge of the business and drivers to strengthen analysis and commentary.
• Prepare presentations and ad hoc analyses for Finance leadership.
• Contribute to process improvement and documentation across finance workflows.
• Support special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
