The analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close activities, strategic analysis, and maintaining internal finance databases. The position is designed for a high-potential finance professional who can quickly learn the business, operate at an experienced analyst level, and potentially transition to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate adaptability, coachability, and a self-starting mindset by taking ownership of projects and seeking opportunities to add value.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work independently while actively participating as part of a larger finance team in a matrixed corporate environment.
Must Have Skills

  • High-performing, experienced Financial Analyst III-level profile, rather than entry-level experience.
  • Strong foundation in finance and accounting basics, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial results.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, large data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Exposure to or ability to learn SQL and other database tools for working with large and complex data sets.
  • Experience with finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion/HFM, SmartView, CMR, PLN, or similar enterprise tools.
  • Comfort working with large, complex, and detailed data sets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and confidently to experienced management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a larger team.
  • Stable career history with several years at prior companies and clear progression in responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working 100% onsite initially at the West Hills location.
