Auto Club of Southern California is seeking a Financial Analyst III for an onsite role based in Costa Mesa, CA. You will develop financial models, analyze profitability, and support the Corporate Finance unit, including executive reporting and ad hoc analyses.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or accounting with 3–5 years of financial analysis experience, advanced Excel, and strong communication skills. Relocation not offered; full-time with an incentive program.

Financial Analyst III

Please note this is an onsite position based in Costa Mesa, CA. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst for an onsite role at our Costa Mesa, CA Headquarters, on the Financial Analysis and Reporting team. In this role, you will support the organization's Corporate Finance unit.

You will develop financial analysis models, analyze profitability, and manage analysis projects. You will also query large data sets, analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for management, and report accurate data and present findings to executives.

What You’ll Do:

You will prepare, analyze, and coordinate executive reporting and financial analysis.

You'll be responsible for reviewing, identifying, and working with other departments to build profitability models and present ideas to increase revenue or reduce expenses.

You will perform Ad Hoc Analysis and querying data, as needed, and be able to explain the data effectively.

You'll be responsible for creating Power Point slides and clearly presenting your analysis results to executives and management.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business/economics, or accounting.

To thrive in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate budgeting and forecasting, or accounting.

You will need to have a strong understanding of accounting concepts, processes, and profitability.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, be a motivated self-starter and detail oriented.

Advanced Excel skills are required. Excel modeling experience required.

Additional technical skills such as Data Analysis, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, Tableau/Power BI, and Power Query are preferred.

Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion or Essbase is a plus.

Teamwork, leadership, interpersonal, multitask management and presentation skills.

Must be a great communicator who can confidently present data, analysis, and slides.

Candidate must also be willing to work occasional extra hours to meet deadlines.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$92,600.00 - $123,600.00 Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
