S3 Inc. has an opening for a Financial Analyst II to support the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) / MV-75 Cheyenne II at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

This position is contingent on award of contract.

The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft Project Office (FLRAA PO) is responsible for Development, Production & Fielding the Army’s MV-75 Cheyenne II. The FLRAA manages multiple phases of acquisition, development, production, modification, recapitalization, sustainment, and foreign military sales for the MV-75 Cheyenne.

Description:

The Financial Analyst will support the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Office assists in tracking program budgets, analyzing funding execution, and preparing cost reports under the defense acquisition lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring obligations and expenditures against program baseline plans.
• Gather financial data to update routine budget execution spreadsheets and reports.
• Compare actual costs to forecasted or budgeted figures under supervisor guidance.
• Help prepare financial briefing slides, data packages, and audit documentation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with two (2) years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have a skill-set of 3 out of 5 proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and office productivity tools.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to maintain a D.O.W. Secret Security Clearance.
• Detail-oriented, strong numerical aptitude, and willingness to learn defense financial management (PPBE process).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with defense acquisition or government accounting concepts.
• Exposure to Army enterprise resource planning tools or financial databases.
