Job summary

IPG, a global leader in packaging and protective solutions, is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our Finance department in North America. This role focuses on consolidating reports, month-end processes, forecasting, and providing insightful financial analyses to support business decisions.

We expect a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 2–4 years of FP&A experience, and strong Excel and ERP/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles
• Supports cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis, manufacturing cost reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliation of cost-related accounts across manufacturing locations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models
• Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP softwares, such as LV and JDE, preferred
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred
• Experience with SQL, preferred
• Must be results and deadline oriented with an ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload
• A strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challenges
• Must be a team player with an ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Consolidates reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, and provides regular system maintenance for locations across North America.
• Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations of business units.
• Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensures accurate financial data.
• Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to manager.
• Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Performs any other financial analyst related tasks as directed by supervisor

Position Description

Department: Finance

Position Purpose: The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.

Principle Accountabilities

• Responsible for consolidating reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, scheduling, reoccurring meetings and providing regular system maintenance for companies various manufacturing locations across North America.
