Transamerica Corporation seeks a Financial Analyst to perform professional financial analysis using IFRS, extract data from systems, and support forecasting and reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and up to 2 years of related experience.

Strong Excel and MS Office skills, and clear written and oral communication are essential. Hybrid/in-office work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience, with degree.
• Advanced computer skills; base knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Working knowledge of financial area preferred (investments, insurance products, premium).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test and verify information in financial data based on accounting/financial analysis knowledge.
• Respond to requests from management and other departments.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly accounting processes to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Update and consolidate financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
• Support business unit reporting needs and Corporate reporting duties.
• Assist with project work and may serve on divisional project teams.
• Adhere to the company's internal controls framework.
• Improve procedures and document reporting/planning processes.
