Job summary

Construction Association of Michigan seeks a Treasury Associate to support daily cash activity, bank reconciliations, and transaction monitoring. You will coordinate cash needs, obtain balances, and help manage short-term borrowings for the organization.

You will maintain accurate financial records, prepare investor-facing materials, and assist with Sarbanes-Oxley controls, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the coordination and administration of the daily cash activity of all companies.
• Obtains daily bank balances and determines daily cash requirements for all companies.
• Monitors all electronic payments via secure, internet-based bank systems. Provides administrative support to all companies regarding any of their cash management requirements.
• Affects Everus and its operating companies' short-term daily borrowings based on required cash needs, repayment thereof, and short-term investment of excess funds at the direction of the department manager.
• Assists with the coordination and administration of Everus' borrowing programs.
• Maintains appropriate spreadsheets detailing the total borrowings by segment and reconciles all borrowing activity.
• Assists with researching and assembling information and supporting data in preparation for departmental presentations, work projects and reports.
• Implements and performs control functions to prevent banking fraud support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Assists with the administration of internet-based bank systems and the treasury management system.
• Performs periodic reviews of users to verify access to these systems.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
