Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SOX and FERC.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships.

Responsibilities

• Accumulate, calculate, coordinate and record monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting estimates.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements and analyses with clear variance explanations.
• Design and maintain spreadsheets and databases for accounting duties; enhance accounting software.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/SOX/FERC and relevant accounting pronouncements.
• Close periodic financial accounting periods and complete reconciliations.
• Support ad hoc data requests and special projects.
