You will manage vendor invoices, PO lifecycle, accruals, and vendor relationships to ensure accurate financials and operational efficiency. This contract role supports Vegetation Management finance activities and requires SAP/VIM experience.

The position emphasizes collaboration with internal stakeholders, attention to detail, and timely financial reporting while upholding internal controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with SAP, VIM, or enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of purchase orders: creation, validation, modifications, cancellations.
• Review and reconcile invoices against approved PO and contracts.
• Track and report on Capital and O&M spending for accurate allocation.
• Support invoice management and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor PO funding levels and identify funding gaps or overspending risks.
• Manage accrual processes and ensure expenses are reflected in period reporting.
• Utilize VIM tools to process and track invoices.

Job Description

In this role, you'll support our Vegetation Management team by managing vendor invoices, purchase orders, accruals, and contractor-related financial activities while serving as a trusted partner to both vendors and internal stakeholders. You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, resolving invoice and purchasing issues, and driving operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, including creation, validation, modifications, and cancellations.

• Review and reconcile invoices against approved purchase orders and contracts.

• Track and report on Capital and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) spending to ensure accurate financial allocation.

• Support invoice management activities and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
