About the Role:

The Financial Analyst I plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic decision-making of a construction company. The analyst will collaborate closely with project managers and senior finance staff to monitor costs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive efficiency and profitability. By maintaining accurate financial records and performing variance analysis, the Financial Analyst I helps the organization manage risks and optimize resource allocation. Ultimately, this role contributes to the company’s ability to deliver construction projects on time and within budget while supporting long-term financial sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or internship in the construction industry or a related field.
  • Familiarity with construction project management software and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and project budgeting specific to construction.
  • Certification such as CFA Level I or CPA in progress.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
