Brunswick Corporation’s Business Acceleration division is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting and analysis across the organization. Based at Brunswick’s corporate office in Mettawa, IL, this hybrid role collaborates with finance, accounting and business leaders to deliver accurate insights and drive better decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience, with strong Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience.
• Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for Business Acceleration, ensuring data integrity and alignment with corporate reporting standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews by preparing clear, visually compelling materials that highlight trends, key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive‑level presentations for senior management, translating financial results, key business drivers, and performance trends into clear, actionable insights.
• Coordinate the consolidation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts across the Business acceleration businesses and functional areas.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, underlying drivers, and business impacts.
• Serve as a key finance liaison between Business Acceleration teams and Brunswick Corporate Finance to support monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting accuracy through automation, standardization, and improved tools.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects that enable business performance evaluation and strategic decision‑making.
