Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting in Duncan, SC is seeking an Analyst to join our finance team. The role analyzes and prepares financial statements, supports planning, forecasting, and provides insights to management on P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow.

The successful candidate will perform month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis, using ERP and Hyperion, with strong communication and organizational skills to deliver accurate reports on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience) with 0-2 years experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications; able to interact with others.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and graphics; ERP/Hyperion experience preferred.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare financial statements and reports such as income statements and balance sheets.
• Assist in month-end close including journal entries and financial analysis.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and roll-forward analysis; support forecasting.
• Produce forecasts and analyze trends in sales and finance for management.
• Conduct economic research and assess rates of return and investments.
• Prepare audit schedules and support; assist with budget preparation.
