Qualifications

• DOE/NRC Q-clearance required or eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 2–3 years FP&A/financial analysis.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close including posting journal entries and variance explanations.
• Analyze monthly results and create a monthly reporting package.
• Ensure accurate accounting for U.S. Government contracts per FAR/DFARS/CAS.
• Track incentives and ensure deadlines and performance requirements are met.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, variance analyses, forecasts, dashboards.
• Assist with financial audits and tax reporting.
• Support budgeting, re-forecasts, capital planning and long-term plans.
• Monitor operational statistics, report trends and issues, escalate as needed.
• Provide data for monthly/quarterly/year-end reviews with senior directors.
• Assist in building business cases and due diligence on opportunities.
• Apply modeling, cash flow, profitability, and KPI analyses.
