Job description

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst, FP&A prepares standard and ad-hoc financial reports for the Firm’s practice group leaders and senior managing partners to help understand results and guide business decisions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc financial reports summarizing key performance indicators and profitability at the practice group, office, and attorney level.
  • Support the financial managers in design and preparation of the monthly financial reporting package; participate in monthly review calls with senior management and address follow-ups.
  • Configure specifications to accurately and efficiently extract data from the Firm’s financial reporting software.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve inquiries related to financial matters; collaborate with other analysts within team and cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  • Perform ongoing audits of financial system data to ensure data accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and the analysis of lateral hires.
  • Support the maintenance of the Firm’s financial software and reporting tools.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual bank surveys.

Compensation & Benefits
