We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in financial modeling, deal execution, accounting review, and market analysis, directly supporting senior bankers across a range of M&A and strategic advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis:
    Build robust financial models based on historical financials to support company valuations, performance forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
  • Accounting Review:
    Analyze financial statements with a strong understanding of GAAP to identify inconsistencies or required reclassifications, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Market & Industry Research:
    Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, and markets to inform financial models and strategic recommendations.
  • Deal Execution Support:
    Assist with the full transaction lifecycle, including creating pitch decks and marketing materials, conducting due diligence, drafting documents, and managing communication with stakeholders.
  • General Support:
    Provide day-to-day assistance to senior bankers by preparing client presentations, taking meeting notes, tracking action items, and helping coordinate client interactions.

1–3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, consulting, or M&A.

Best:
Experience working at an investment bank on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.

Good:
M&A-related experience outside of investment banking, such as:

  • Working at a consulting firm performing M&A due diligence
  • Roles at an accounting firm (e.g., Big 4) focusing on M&A accounting
  • Experience in corporate development executing M&A strategy

Okay:
Experience in other roles with strong analytical and financial skills, including:

  • Accounting
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Consulting or project management with a financial or strategic focus
