Job summary

Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta is seeking a Financial Analyst to develop and compile financial data, conduct analyses, reconciliation, and projections in support of departments. You will prepare a full range of financial reports, including cost studies, budget forecasts and modeling, and other tools.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree with two or more years of relevant experience; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two or more years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent; related experience or advanced certification.

Responsibilities

Develop and compile financial data and conduct analyses, reconciliation and projection.
Prepare a full range of financial reports, including cost studies, budgets and modeling.
Perform data entry, calculations, estimates and reconciliations to support analyses.
Run financial reports as needed to support department decisions.
Develop forecasts and analyze trends in general business conditions.
Verify funding sources to ensure appropriate spending and billing practices.
Provide results of analysis and describe methodologies used.
Remain current on internal and external financial reporting requirements.
May assist in financial audits and present summaries to stakeholders.
