Job summary

IPC Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst, Commissions to support our global commissions process, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-controlled calculations, reporting, and stakeholder deliverables. You will work with Finance, Sales, HR, auditors, and leadership on high-visibility projects in a lean, fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering leadership-ready reporting and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, commissions, sales compensation, revenue operations, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliations, and large dataset management.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end global commissions process, including data collection, validation, calculation support, reporting, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Prepare monthly commission calculations, payroll files, employee statements, and leadership-ready reporting.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-structured commissions data across systems and source files.
• Analyze commission results, trends, scenarios, discrepancies, and plan impacts to support decision-making and issue resolution.
• Respond to commission-related questions from Sales, Finance, HR, auditors, and leadership with clear, accurate, and timely information.
• Support commission plan updates, modeling, and implementation activities for new or revised plans.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses and reporting on commissions, sales performance, billing, accounting, and related finance metrics.
• Develop and improve Excel-based tools, templates, and controls to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Coordinate across global stakeholders to support deadlines, resolve data issues, and ensure alignment across functions.
• Contribute to process improvement and documentation efforts as the commissions function continues to mature.

Overview of the Team

The Global Commissions team is a small, high-impact team responsible for managing the end-to-end sales commissions process globally, including data management, calculations, reporting, governance support, and stakeholder partnership.

The team works closely with Finance, Sales, HR, and senior leadership during commission plan design, implementation, monthly calculations, reporting cycles, and issue resolution. This role will be based in the U.S. headquarters location and will provide critical support to the Finance Manager responsible for commissions, who is based in Madrid.

Role Overview

As a Financial Analyst, Commissions, you will play a hands-on role in supporting IPC’s global commissions process, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-controlled commission calculations, reporting, and stakeholder deliverables.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with Finance, Sales, HR, auditors, and senior leadership to support high-visibility deliverables across the business.

This role requires strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with accuracy and urgency in a lean team environment where deliverables are highly visible and business critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end global commissions process, including data collection, validation, calculation support, reporting, and stakeholder follow-up

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with Finance, Sales, HR, auditors, and senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate independently in a lean, fast-paced environment

• Experience with commissions, sales compensation, incentive compensation, or revenue operations processes
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems such as Oracle, ERP tools, CRM systems, or commission platforms
• Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple geographies or time zones
• Comfort preparing leadership-ready reporting and explaining financial outputs to non-finance stakeholders
