The Pivot Group seeks a Financial Analyst for Cheboygan, MI, to support manufacturing decision-making. You will perform journal entries, close activities, and develop dashboards tracking key metrics across cost centers and production lines.

This role emphasizes standard costing, variance analysis, and monthly/ quarterly reporting. You will partner with plant leadership to drive cost insights and budgeting processes within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
2+ years of financial analysis experience in manufacturing.
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
Experience with standard costing/variance analysis.

Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis for plant leadership.
Build and maintain cost models for products and production lines.

Financial Analyst | Cheboygan, MI

Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Usual Responsibilities

Recommended Qualifications

Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Ability to communicate financial results to non financial plant staff.
Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Two or more years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions.
Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

CPA or CMA certification.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement programs.
Advanced skills in SQL or data modeling.
Experience supporting multiple plant sites.
