Job summary

Colliers International in Manhattan, NY is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Capital Markets platform within brokerage services. You will perform expert financial analysis, build complex models, and deliver actionable insights for client portfolios and property classes across Multifamily, Office, Industrial, and Debt & Equity teams.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in commercial real estate, advanced Excel, and pro-forma experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area
• 2+ years' experience in Commercial Real Estate
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience developing pro-formas from scratch and performing in-depth financial analysis
• Strong understanding of CRE valuation principles such as: NPV, Income Capitalization, & IRR

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial models for client portfolios in the Capital Markets space within Manhattan and surrounding region.
• Design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing and speculative cash flow for the multifamily, office, industrial, and debt/equity teams.
• Provide analytical tools and cost-effective analyses to influence lease and purchase decisions for clients.
• Support client presentations, responses to RFPs, and new business pitches in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver accurate financial analysis with high attention to detail to improve internal processes.

What you bring

• You will design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing and speculative cash flow for the Multifamily, Office & Industrial, and Debt & Equity sales teams.
• You are passionate about providing exceptional service to your clients and you are able to do this through providing analytical tools and cost-effective analysis that can influence lease/ purchase decisions.
