Job summary

Brunswick Corporation’s Business Acceleration division is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the division’s financial planning, reporting and analysis activities, including consolidating results, budgeting, forecasting and executive-level reporting, while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

The role reports to the Finance Manager at Brunswick’s corporate office in Mettawa, IL, and offers a hybrid schedule with three days onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for Business Acceleration, ensuring data integrity and alignment with corporate reporting standards.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews by preparing clear, visually compelling materials that highlight trends, key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive-level presentations for senior management, translating financial results, key business drivers, and performance trends into clear, actionable insights.
• Coordinate the consolidation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts across the Business acceleration businesses and functional areas.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, underlying drivers, and business impacts.
• Serve as a key finance liaison between Business Acceleration teams and Brunswick Corporate Finance to support monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting accuracy through automation, standardization, and improved tools.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects that enable business performance evaluation and strategic decision-making.
