Job summary

dSPACE Inc. in Wixom, MI is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. You will support the Controller in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support across multiple departments.

The role requires strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and excellent communication. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred and collaboration across functions is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, or related finance functions.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and KPIs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc financial analyses for business decisions.
• Partner with department managers to understand drivers and provide insights.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, inventory and performance trends.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities with the accounting team.
• Create dashboards and reports using ERP and BI systems.
• Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives.
• Maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy within Dynamics 365 FO.
• Support internal and external audit requests as needed.
• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives.
