Job summary

Circle K, based in Corona, CA, seeks a financial analyst to support the annual budget process, develop ad hoc reports for field management, and prepare comprehensive financial analyses for senior leadership.

In this role you will coordinate quarterly bonus payouts, model future changes, and generate scorecards by store, market, and division. A strong background in Excel/PowerPoint and data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in Convenience Retailing is ideal and preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements required.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; able to work with large datasets.
• Able to adapt to a dynamic business environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, across levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Annual Operating Budget Process and coordinate key meetings; build presentations to meet deadlines.
• Provide Field Management with ad hoc reports to measure operating performance.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for Senior Management.
• Coordinate calculations for quarterly bonus payouts and data for the model updates.
• Model anticipated changes and present results.
• Produce period-by-period Scorecards for operational performance by store, market, region and division.
• Prepare Investment Cases for various projects to support AFE's; evaluate capital expenditure proposals.
• Continue professional development through workshops, publications, networks, and societies.
