Responsibilities

• Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in financial systems.
• Review costs and perform cost-benefit analysis related to projects and programs.
• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Assist in the analysis of financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
• Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.

Job description

The Financial Analyst, Associate will conduct or assist in the documentation of simple to moderate financial analyst projects. This position is based in the U.S. Steel Tower and follows a hybrid work schedule including some days in office and some days at home per week. Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm, with flexibility on the start/end times.
