Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Full Time Professional in Mukilteo, WA to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for defense programs.

You will help build program budgets, track performance metrics, and provide guidance to leadership and program managers to strengthen financial execution. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in business, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business discipline such as finance, accounting, or operations management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal managers and external customers and suppliers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains project-based financial measurement processes.
• Provides financial guidance to management and program managers.
• Works with managers to create program budgets and schedules.
• Performs and assists in work plan reconciliation and reporting.
• Provides weekly and monthly financial status updates to the Controller.
• Reviews financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Researches and implements cost-saving strategies.
• Supports the Controller and Contracts Manager in creating proposals, purchase orders, and requests for quotation (RFQs).
• Executes ad hoc financial tasks such as revenue projections, market research, and budgeting.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

In this role, you will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that help leadership and program managers make informed decisions. You will contribute to accurate program budgeting, optimized financial metrics, and effective financial tracking processes that strengthen overall financial performance and program execution.
