Job summary

Simera is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. The role focuses on interpreting financial information, identifying trends, preparing reports, and delivering insights to drive business decisions.

You will analyze financial data, build models, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Experience preparing financial reports, forecasts, budgets and financial models.
  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet modeling skills.
  • Experience with variance analysis and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of financial statements and metrics.
  • Experience with financial systems, databases, or BI tools.
  • Ability to analyze large data and communicate conclusions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Remote work capability and reliable internet connection.

  • Maintain accurate financial models, databases, and supporting documentation.
  • Research financial and market information when required.
  • Ensure analyses and reports are accurate, timely, and consistent.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support special financial projects and process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet modeling skills.
  • Experience performing variance analysis and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics.
  • Experience working with financial systems, databases, or business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and communicate meaningful conclusions.
