Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Excellent accounting skills with strong systems aptitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Experience with Oracle GL and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

• Support Monthly and Annual Closes: coordinate close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Analyze and Report Financial Performance: produce monthly SG&A reporting with variance analysis.
• Support Planning and Forecasting: assist in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for cost centers.
• Contribute to Compliance Activities: participate in quarterly/annual reporting and SOX compliance.
• Assist Department Managers: support SG&A budget owners with data requests and ad hoc reports.
• Engage in Cross-Functional Projects: participate in finance and business projects to support goals.

ABOUT YOU:

Are you a detail-oriented financial analyst looking to expand your skills in a dynamic corporate setting? We’re seeking a Financial Analyst 2 to support SG&A cost centers through hands‑on financial analysis, reporting, and planning. In this role, you’ll contribute to critical month‑end activities, partner with department managers, and provide insights that help drive better business decisions. YOU WILL:

• Support Monthly and Annual Closes. Coordinate monthly accounting close activities, prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and establish accruals for assigned SG&A categories.
• Analyze and Report Financial Performance. Produce monthly SG&A reporting with variance analysis to plan and prior year, including written commentary.
• Support Planning and Forecasting. Assist in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for assigned cost centers and balance sheet accounts.
• Contribute to Compliance Activities. Participate in quarterly and annual corporate reporting, audits, and SOX compliance as needed.
• Assist Department Managers. Support SG&A budget owners with questions, data requests, and ad hoc reporting needs.
• Engage in Cross‑Functional Projects. Participate in other finance and business projects as necessary to support broader organizational goals.
• Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Up to 5%

YOU HAVE:

• Education. A 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience.2-3 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Technical Proficiency. Excellent accounting skills with strong systems aptitude, including Excel, Access, general ledger systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Communication & Collaboration. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Analytical & Organizational Strength. Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred. Experience with Oracle general ledger and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with SAP BPC for financial reporting.

Our Finance team combines traditional financial planning, analysis and accounting with collaborative business decision‑making and strategy, directly supporting leadership in Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations. Team members are expected to analyze data and provide recommendations across our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products and Professional Sports. Through the utilization of best‑in‑class technical software, such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Incorta, SAP BPC, Oracle, Salesforce, & the Microsoft Suite, you will get to play a critical role in determining financial solutions that steer our business.
