Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to design reports in Oracle, map accounts, and develop joint ventures while assigning department charges. The role analyzes spending variances and develops activity and cost projections for production and lab centers.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Business/Accounting or equivalent manufacturing budgeting experience, with strong accounting principles and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Business/Accounting as required; two years financial reporting/budgets.
• Equivalent six years of financial reporting and/or budgets in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory and financial principles.

Responsibilities

• Design reports in Oracle, map accounts, develop JVs, assign department charges.
• Analyze spending variances.
• Develop activity and cost projections for production and lab centers.
• Determine manpower, salary and fringe expenses by salary groups.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Oracle and Syteline.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Self-directed; works well in a matrix organization.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
• Must wear PPE and lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk and reach as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Using Oracle, design reports, map accounts, develop Jvs, run various systems assigning department charges
• Analyzing spending variances
• Develop activity and cost projections for production and lab centers
• Determine manpower, salary and fringe expenses by salary groups
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages to include Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
• Prior experience with Oracle, Syteline software
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Self-directed and works well in a matrix organization.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.

Knowledge and Training

• B.S. in Business/Accounting and two years financial reporting and/or budgets
• Equivalent experience of six years in financial reporting and/or budgets in a manufacturing environment
• Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory and application of financial principles

Physical Requirements
