Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a financial analyst to design Oracle reports, map accounts, and develop budgets for production and lab centers in a manufacturing environment.

You will analyze spending variances, project costs, and determine manpower and salary expenses by group, applying accounting principles with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Business/Accounting or equivalent with financial reporting/budgeting experience.
• Six years in financial reporting and/or budgeting in manufacturing.
• Strong accounting theory knowledge and application of financial principles.

Responsibilities

• Using Oracle, design reports, map accounts, develop JVs, run systems to assign department charges.
• Analyze spending variances and develop activity/cost projections for production and lab centers.
• Determine manpower, salary and fringe expenses by salary groups.
• Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook effectively.
• Work with Oracle and Syteline software in a manufacturing setting.
• Show organizational skills and work autonomously within a matrix organization.
• Be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Using Oracle, design reports, map accounts, develop JVs, run various systems assigning department charges
• Analyzing spending variances
• Develop activity and cost projections for production and lab centers
• Determine manpower, salary and fringe expenses by salary groups
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Prior experience with Oracle, Syteline software
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Self-directed and works well in a matrix organization
• Ability to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required

Knowledge and Training

• B.S. in Business/Accounting and two years financial reporting and/or budgets
• Equivalent experience of six years in financial reporting and/or budgets in a manufacturing environment
• Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory and application of financial principles

Physical requirements

• Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. when needed
• Constantly stand and walk throughout the workday
