Job summary

ModMed is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models based on analysis to support organizational decision making.

Responsibilities include analyzing business and financial data, developing plans and reports for leaders, and performing variance analysis against budgets and forecasts. You will partner with General Managers and executives for ad-hoc and recurring analyses and help develop automated reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, or data/programmer analyst OR CPA with at least one year of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team-player mindset.
• Experience with forecasting and/or budgeting, along with variance analysis.
• Basic understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical methods for big data analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Description Summary:

Skills & Requirements:

• 1-2 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, auditor, or data/programmer analyst OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and legendary "team player" mindset.
• Experience with forecasting and/or budgeting, along with variance analysis.
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Thorough understanding of methods of financial analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) business preferred, but not required
• Experience with Anaplan, DOMO, Salesforce, VBA, Power Query and/or DOMO preferred but not required.
