Job summary

Saicon is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support multiple departments, primarily at Stanford Redwood City and the Finance & Administration function. You will review and process accounting transactions, prepare journals, and resolve anomalies while ensuring accuracy under tight deadlines.

The role also involves data analysis, budgeting support, and collaboration across teams to improve financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Three years of relevant experience or combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with complex formulas.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience with financial systems and learning new software quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Who will you support:
There are many departments at LBRE, your primary focus will be on, but not limited to, Stanford Redwood City and the Finance & Administration department.
What work will you do**:

• Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions; clear outstanding items
• Prepare and submit journals.
• Identify and resolve incorrect journal entries, data anomalies, deviations from established procedures, and unusual issues
• Run, maintain, reconcile, review, combine, analyze and validate financial data sets, utilizing financial reports, financial databases, and key financial information often from multiple systems. Assist in the preparation of basic management information reports.
• Provide support to budgeting and forecasting
• **Additional duties as applicable to the role
  

What we are looking for :

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in business applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, including advanced formula use.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and aptitude to learn new systems
• Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently and as a team player
• Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and ability to effectively multitask.
• Strong project management skills and ability to contribute to or lead part of a multifunctional team.
• Preferred but not required:
• Proficiency with Oracle systems in general
