Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a strong Financial Analyst for our Wichita Falls, Texas plant. This role reports to the Controller and will drive financial analysis, reporting, and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

You will own daily reporting systems, support capital projects, and coordinate month-end close with other locations. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus the ability to communicate clearly, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business, accounting or finance preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Export-controlled data access; employment offers conditioned upon ability to access such items.

Responsibilities

• Lead role with shop floor cost system.
• Analysis of financial and operational results.
• Monthly tracking and reconciliation of AR issues.
• Month-end closing and reporting, including reconciliation and coordinating closing entries with other APP locations.
• Ownership and execution of daily reporting systems.
• Capital appropriation and Fixed Asset support.
• Analysis of plant spending and leadership of spend management systems.
• Data extraction and report development.
• Financial analysis and process development for special projects.
• Provide annual and quarterly corporate tax reporting.
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Completion of Howmet's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.

This position will be in our Wichita Falls, Texas Plant. We are seeking a strong Financial Analyst with high energy and drive. This position will report to the Controller.

Our Wichita Falls location is on the front edge of the rapid growth in the aerospace and turbine industries. Nestled halfway between Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, our facility in Wichita Falls supplies jet engine components to some of the most trusted names in the Aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead role with shop floor cost system.


• Analysis of financial and operational results.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Business, preferred concentration in Accounting or Finance


• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior financial experience with manufacturing companies.


• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills


• MBA a plus.

• Excellent analytical skills.

The Howmet engines business produces world-class aerospace engine components, including investment castings, fasteners, rings and forgings. Our vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts enable the next generation of quieter, cleaner and more fuel-efficient aerospace engines. Able to supply more than 90% of structural and rotating aerospace engine components.
