Job summary

Casino Del Sol is seeking a Financial Analyst to create, organize, and disseminate financial, operational, and marketing data for authorized personnel. You will perform financial analysis, maintain records, and generate reports to support internal controls and decision-making.

Collaborate with department teams to streamline data preparation and reporting, monitor gaming performance metrics, and ensure accuracy across reporting packages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and two years related experience.
  • Must successfully pass an MS Excel test.
  • Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening in accordance with company policy.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Collects all pertinent data to generate the appropriate reports.
  • Performs financial, operational, and marketing analysis.
  • Establishes and maintains files and records.
  • Produces compliance reports as part of the minimum internal control process.
  • Makes decisions exercising judgment and initiative in accordance with approved procedures and precedents.
  • Monitors gaming performance through slot, table games, bingo, poker, and sports book analysis.
  • Analyzes and produces reports measuring key performance indicators.
  • Participates in meetings with operational departments.
  • Works to streamline the compilation of source data for use in reporting packages.
  • Prepares back‑up information for departments.
  • Reviews department reports addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.
  • Produces departmental records and reports with a very high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Essential functions of the position
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and transport materials and/or equipment on a frequent basis up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach, pull, kneel, squat, twist, and bend for duties.
  • Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate with all guests and team members in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to follow both verbal and written directions.
  • Must be able to travel to other CDS properties, or any other events necessary for this specific role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Finance systems and accounting procedures.
  • Knowledge of IGT Advantage.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
  • Knowledge with SQL Server Reporting Services or similar report visualization programs preferred. (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)
  • Knowledge in data process flow automation preferred (SQL Server Integration Services, Visual Studio, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of financial and economic theory with a foundation in statistical analysis.
  • Ability to write SQL script pulling data from warehouse and using multiple platforms/systems (Infogenesis, V1, etc.)
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret documents and make recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to secondary smoke.
Minimum Qualifications
