Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team in support of manufacturing operations. You will perform financial analysis across sales, COGS, margins, and capital expenditures while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive budget accuracy and forecasting effectiveness.

The role requires SAP FI/CO experience and comfort with ERP systems, data reconciliation, and audits. Pasadena, TX or West Valley City, UT location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance required.
• Knowledge of core accounting principles, practices and financial concepts.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• SAP FI/CO experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience as a financial analyst.
• Ability to work in the Pasadena, TX or West Valley City, UT office.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas of concern and opportunity across strategy, finance and operations.
• Recommend corrective actions by analyzing results, variances, and trends.
• Provide financial analysis of sales, cost of goods sold, contribution margins, cost center spending, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Reconcile balances and transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Assemble and summarize data and prepare reports and presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Create and support financial models for “what if” scenarios.
• Calculate and assess returns on investments for new projects and opportunities.
• Support quarter-end and year-end reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors.
• Implement process improvements and efficiencies, develop automated applications, eliminate duplications, and coordinate information requirements.
• Assist with ERP system upgrades and implementations.
• Support other financial and accounting projects as needed.
