Avnet, a global technology distributor, is seeking a Financial Analyst in Tempe, AZ for hybrid work. The role analyzes financial and operating data, creates forecasts, builds models, and supports budgeting and planning processes.

You will produce monthly reports, support KPI tracking, and assist with short- and long-range financial planning. Successful candidates have 3+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of GAAP.

Experience what's next at Avnet!**Job Summary:**Reports, analyzes and interprets financial and operating data for accounting and business operations management. Generates financial forecasts and creates financial models to support the organization's financial and business planning decisions.**Principal Responsibilities:*** Provides analytical support to management to include Profit and Loss (P&L) projections/forecasts, scenario planning, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis related to business models.* Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.* Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.* Responds to information requests from internal customers and others as assigned.* Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and narrative results analysis for management.* Develops and distributes standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting.* Reviews and analyzes reports in order to verify results.* Works with management to develop, monitor and report-out on key performance indicators for the business.* Assists with the development, preparation, and presentation of short- and long-range financial plans.* Other duties as assigned.**Job Level Specifications:*** Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline.
