Job summary

CFS in Tallmadge, Ohio is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. You will handle accounting duties, financial analysis, and reporting for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and collaboration with divisional and corporate leaders on financial results and process improvements. A four-year background in accounting/finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Audit experience is preferred but not required.

• Perform accounting and financial analysis while ensuring internal controls.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end close.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet analyses.
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for divisional and corporate leadership.
• Analyze financial performance across multiple business units and locations.
• Support the consolidation and reporting of foreign currency financial results.
• Assist with quarterly and annual audit requests by preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
• Participate in the annual fixed asset audit process.
