Job summary

CFS in Akron, OH is seeking a Financial Analyst to join a large organization with exposure to both accounting and financial analysis. You will support the monthly close, prepare statements, analyze across multiple entities, and assist audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Approximately 4–5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliation skills.
• Previous audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and financial analysis while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Prepare journal entries and support the monthly close process; complete reconciliations and analyses.
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for division and corporate leadership.
• Analyze results across multiple entities and locations; support multi-currency reporting.
• Prepare schedules and support for audits and the annual fixed asset audit.

Key Responsibilities (Financial Analyst)

• Perform general accounting and financial analysis while maintaining strong internal controls
• Prepare journal entries and support the monthly close processComplete monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis
• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for division and corporate leadership
• Analyze financial results across multiple business entities and locations
• Support consolidation and reporting of multi-currency financial results
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for quarterly and annual audits
• Support the annual fixed asset audit

Preferred Qualifications (Financial Analyst)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Approximately 4–5 years of accounting/ finance experience
• Strong general ledger, financial reporting, and account reconciliation experience
• Previous audit experience is a plus
